On Tuesday this week, we toured a newly renovated venue in Cherry Creek called Parkside Mansion. It’s a documented historical home in Colorado that was built in 1905 by Baron Charles Daniel McPhee, a prominent and philanthropic figure in Colorado history. It was then purchased in 1981 to be converted into an event site and was most recently renovated in 2016. It looks polished while still having the original staircase, wood floors, and intricate ceiling paintings, thus maintaining the history of the mansion. This venue has all the elegance, history, and modern amenities that anyone would want!

Parkside Mansion can accommodate up to 300 people. It has a ballroom, sunroom, rooftop patio, and break out rooms making it a versatile venue for both corporate and social events. It also has a bride and groom’s suites, and with the building’s picturesque beauty and romantic atmosphere, it is truly the perfect venue for a wedding.

When one walks out onto the mansion’s rooftop patio, they are treated with a scenic view of City Park. Mariah Graham, the Sales Manager of the venue said, “This location is great because having City Park right next door is a breath of fresh air.” The exterior of the building is striking as well. The Event Manager of the venue, Courtney King, said that when she used to visit her sister, who lived two blocks away from Parkside Mansion, they would walk the dog past the mansion and Courtney was always awe-struck by the beauty of it and really wanted to work there, and now she is.

Take a look at the pictures and descriptions below to get an idea of how wonderful this venue is and when you plan your next event with Willie Ripple Events, consider having it at Parkside Mansion!
